This manor house with medieval origins lies in the parish of St Clement and is the traditional home of the Seigneur de Samarés. Its unique gardens, which have always offered exceptional planting conditions, were created in the 1920s by Sir James Knott. In recent years they have undergone further development and diversification, with new gardens created and other unique plant collections introduced, all of which have them considered one of Europe’s most outstanding gardens. St Helier is just two miles away and there’s a beach within half a mile too, along with a variety of eateries and shops. (Read more)
