An air of refinement and character greets you when you step inside as antique furnishings, ornate fireplaces, sparkling chandeliers and floral displays all take centre stage. Outside, terraces and courtyards are dotted amongst the five acres of terraced gardens and provide a welcome spot to unwind.
An outstanding evening dining experience awaits you in the oak panelled dining room and conservatory, as the best seasonal and locally sourced ingredients are spectacularly brought together. A quintessential afternoon tea is served in the drawing room or conservatory, while just two minutes stroll away at The Rozel, which is owned by Chateau La Chaire, country pub dining can also be enjoyed.
The 12 bedrooms at the Chateau are all individually styled, often with sloped ceilings due to the eaves, and elegantly furnished with an array of personal comforts. Classic rooms are located mainly on the second floor and are available with either king size or twin beds. Amenities include an ensuite bath/shower, smart TV, tea tray, Nespresso coffee machine, mineral water, bathrobes, slippers, mini bar, iron & ironing board, hairdryer and free WiFi.
Popular superior rooms are generous in size and found mainly on the first floor. These rooms offer a bathroom with a spa bath and walk-in shower, a comfy sofa and many also feature a four poster bed. Other upgraded room categories include superior balcony rooms and the large Rose Suite, which has its own comfortable lounge, separate bedroom and front facing balcony with views of the Rozel Valley.
The hotel isn’t suited to very young children, although those aged 8 years and over are welcome.
