La Barbarie Hotel

Formerly a 16th century priory, La Barbarie was converted into a hotel in 1950 and the old quiet charm has remained along with a relaxing country house ambience that blend perfectly with the modern bright interiors. Sitting within the pretty gardens is a seasonal swimming pool, which is sure to be welcome when you return to the hotel after a busy day of sightseeing, walking or shopping.

The jewel in La Barbarie’s crown is its restaurant with a cosy dining room, menus that change daily according to what’s in season and fresh, a well thought out wine list and outstandingly good food! Open for breakfast, which is available as continental or full English, and dinner while if you fancy staying at the hotel for lunch, you should make your way to the bar or, if the weather is fine, why not sit out on the south facing terrace?

La Barbarie has 38 comfortable bedrooms that are all equipped with an ensuite bathroom, some with shower only. Standard rooms, which have either a king or twin beds, also feature a television, telephone, hairdryer, beverage tray, air-conditioning and complimentary WiFi.

Poolside deluxe rooms have either a king or twin beds, a luxury bathroom with bath and separate shower, bathrobes and slippers, occasional tables and chairs, a DVD player and terrace or balcony. Two room suites boast a bedroom with king or twin beds, a luxury walk-in shower, separate lounge and a balcony.
